The British Have Arrived

For the Defense of the Empire and all territories and citizens King George and the Air Lord have ordered two new state of the art battle cruisers and a light escort to pursue and suppress the German air fleet in the Far East.  Who knows what events may arise from this turn of events.

Newest Fleet

My all fixed all caproni "fleet" is finally complete with 4 ca.90 heavy bombers, 2 ca.60 airships, 4 ca.1 bombers, 6 ca.70 night fighters (2 flights), 12 ca.20 fighters (4 wings) and an odd ca.4 bomber.  I might do a few more details on the planes, or add some more ca.4's.  But for now paint is the next big step which will follow sometime in the future.

For my standard fixed wing division; 6 ca.70 fighters and the first ca.4 bomber.

The fixed wing fleet is moving along nicely, with 4 ca.90's, 2 ca.60's and 1 ca.4 complete and a host of ca.20's and ca.1's (or possibly ca.4's) on their way.  As well as the 2 seaplanes which will probably be added to my new as yet unnamed dig fleet.

Fixed Wing Frenzy!

With a few nights work and a lot of toothpicks I put together a Caproni ca-60, Caproni ca-90, and a generic but very large seaplane.  With a few more of these and large swarm of fighters and bombers I just might be able to put together an all fixed wing aeronef fleet!

A Quick Fix

Here is a Caproni CA-1 I whipped up this weekend.  As usual the fusil lodge and tail struts are made from toothpicks, the wings and tail are made from an old bank card I had to cut up.

I have had these two sitting around for a while, and just can't decide how to paint them.  Normally I paint based on historic patterns but I don't have a good back story for these two.  Any suggestions???
